This beautiful depiction of a grey warbler amongst manuka flowers is part of John's most recent work. John began by creating a beautiful coloured pencil drawing upon timber (available as a print also), and then used his digital suite of tools to create an altogether new look.
The Kanuka Glen Art outdoor range is New Zealand's most durable print art, suitable for hanging indoors or outdoors in any weather.
Does the image run when it gets wet?
The short answer is no. The long answer is that the image is impregnated in to the surface of the canvas. This creates an impenetrable print that is unaffected by moisture and will not run.
What is the artwork printed on?
We use BS-1088 marine grade plywood. This is the highest worldwide standard available for plywood. It's used in boat building and exterior cladding so it needs to be highly durable and able to withstand all weather conditions. This makes it the perfect canvas for the Kanuka Glen Art outdoor range. It also offers a beautiful natural woodgrain that enhances the overall appeal of the artwork.
Will the print fade in the sun?
In short no. The long answer is that the artwork is printed using unique Micro-V ultrafine dispersion technology to maximise pigment loading. The UV curing inks deliver strong vibrant, lightfast colours with greater image quality and superior colour gamut.
The colours and the overall appeal of this image offer a truly wonderful piece of art for your home, or as a special gift to be treasured.
